What KlaroFin does

With KlaroFin you write invoices, quotes and reminders, capture expenses and receipts, keep a cash book and stay on top of your taxes (income-surplus statement & VAT). E-invoices in the XRechnung and ZUGFeRD formats are supported directly – GoBD-compliant and audit-proof.

What we stand for

How KlaroFin came about

KlaroFin was not built by a large corporation but by a small business owner for his own finances. Anyone who writes their own invoices, sorts their own receipts and files their own VAT return at the end of the quarter knows exactly where common programs get in the way: too many fields for the simple case, jargon instead of plain language, and a separate tool for every task. Out of that experience grew an application that brings quotes, invoices, reminders, receipts and tax figures together in a single flow – and that stays understandable even when bookkeeping is not your profession.

Business and personal kept apart

Many self-employed people keep everything in one pot: the invoice to a client and the weekly grocery run end up in the same spreadsheet. KlaroFin separates the two. The business side works with net amounts, VAT and receipt obligations, while the personal cash book alongside it simply tracks income and spending. Both live in one application behind a single login but are evaluated separately – so you can see what your business actually earns without private spending distorting the figures.

What we are not

KlaroFin is software, not a tax advisory service. We sort, calculate and present your figures so that you understand them yourself and can pass them on when needed – advice on your individual tax situation remains a matter for your tax advisor. That is precisely why everything in KlaroFin can be exported instead of staying locked inside a closed system.
